The Marlins took plenty of heat for trading Luis Arraez. With the context we have now, it's hard to deny that unpopular decision was a long-term win for the organization. dlvr.it/TSTSc6#marlins#miami#FightinFish
@FishOnFirst This is why the marlins continue to be the marlins. Writers continue to give free passes to the marlins front office, and try to justify trading away guys who could help this team. Arraez couldve been the solution and 1B even if X came up, yet instead its still a black hole at 1B

@FishOnFirst@Kyle_Sielaff Brutal take and kinda glad the comments are echoing that. The trade is a win because it allowed X to play every day? He could have played regardless. 3/4 players acquired are useless and the 4th has had one good MLB month. Head is a potential franchise CF? Jesus.
I believe in Marsee but nobody from this deal is really killing it in FL. It wasn’t really about the players either. Arraez was the heart of the team and we traded him for a few more players we will trade for a few more players and so on. They haven’t built a long term core at all
