We recognise the importance of diplomatic relations with China, but we remain concerned about national security, transparency & public order implications raised during planning process, including its proximity to sensitive infrastructure and the submission of redacted plans.(2/4)
These concerns have been reflected in sustained parliamentary scrutiny by members of LFHK. They are also mirrored by significant public opposition including at least 10 large protests over the past year and organised concerns from local residents, who are crowdfunding a JR. (3/4)
