Very much so not a fan. The music is good but the characters feel confusing and not very thought out It feels determined to swap and not swap aspects of characters and it results in less so people and more blank vessels that don't feel alive at all.

I think my clearest gripe is Papyrus He's usually characterised just like UT Sans, and yet his genocide run fight is... anticlimactic, where he doesn't even truly put up a fight and acts more like an out of character Papyrus And then yet the song is dramatic. It all clashes

@MediocreHyper No? The characters dont swap personalities at all, only places The swaps are only used to explore other parts of the characters personalities that didnt get much focus in undertale

@wubadubdub120 @M0nst3r367 If you only swap roles, there's nothing holding them to those roles and it just feels unnatural and out of character Like- why is Papyrus being lazy and not pro-active? Why is Sans trying so hard? Why is Undyne stuck away in a lab?

@MediocreHyper @wubadubdub120 Undyne was unhappy with toriel shutting locking everyone away and swapped jobs with alphys so she can create things to help with a rebellion. Papyrus saw undyne leave so he lost interest in the royal guard. But this means now he can focus full time on being your friend

@MediocreHyper @wubadubdub120 Sans saw papyrus lose interest in the royal guard and was worried he'd become unhappy. So he joins the royal guard hoping to inspire his brother and make him proud even if his nihilism makes it hard for him to care

@M0nst3r367 @wubadubdub120 These kinda feel forced to me, I'm still not really a fan. The take is generally laking way too many details for me to like it, especially when the details rhat have been given don't really mesh with me, they sound more like random "fun ideas" rhat end up gimmicky

@MediocreHyper @M0nst3r367 @wubadubdub120 Mediocre, it genuinely feels like, you find EVERYTHING in new AU takes Gimmicky. if you don’t like them and you have your opinions, but everyone else seems to like it, just keep them to yourself, since it seems you have an opinion on EVERY AU take under the sun recently.
