Quick learnings from #Unite2024 -Unity Struckd looks awesome -Tilemap used as a Level Editor -Learned more about Game Objects X Entities future integration, very much looking forward to it. -Practical use case for Sentis shown in Time Ghost -Muse has improved a lot since I last tried it, lots more control -Got direct help from DOTS Experts on best way to bake mesh data, CreateAdditionalEntity(); during baking -Need to combine DOTS Jobs? -Prince of Persia built tons of tools for testing and pushing performance to the max, remove all back meshes and merge everything -Cities Skylines 2 used DOTS from the start in 2018 -CameraSortingLayerTexture -Unity sample Gem Hunter Match, I didn't know about it -Learned from the roadmap that the future looks awesome And a fun one: -Met someone who learned from my Graph Tutorial video, awesome to find people who learned from such super niche tutorials!

@UnityCodeMonkey City Skylines 2 was ridiculed in the media for its horrendous performance so I wonder what went wrong, despite using DOTS the game was one of the worst performers on PC, it was heaver than Cyberpunk 2077 with Path Tracing despite looking nowhere near it in visual quality.

@UnityCodeMonkey about strukd and unity, that about viewing the platform differently. or to having an HUB experience like with Nvidia omniverse. if unity will do more in its own engine and/or connect better with other tools.
