What’s odd is that they have purposely delayed any mention of a SteamDeck 2 because they want to make sure it feels like a worthwhile upgrade.

I will die on the hill that Valve shouldn't be releasing the Steam Machine. This thing is already six years out of date and yet it costs $1,049 because of AI. It should have been delayed and upgraded or outright cancelled.

@justgooseisfine Yeah I agree. Valve has always been sort of the north star for being the least greedy and the most consumer friendly option, so them pulling this is wild. Like surely there will be diehards that will defend this but previously I was ready to give up my PS5 for this, not anymore💀

Holy shit was not expecting it to be this bad. That price with that storage and no controller is just completely unjustifiable. This coming from valve just makes it much more surprising.

TLOU2 came out 6 years ago today. It’s still one of the most hated and debated games ever made, but it completely changed my perspective on storytelling. From Joel’s death, to playing as Abby, to Ellie finally breaking the cycle of revenge, the game took risks that most developers would never attempt. One of the best game of the decade.
