@VictorKerman How the hell do you use camera tools i never understood how to use it.
English

@Catgineering @SpaceKoala unless they move the liquid hydrogen valve supply chain away from Colorado to Illinois.
English

@SpaceKoala NASA would just repeat themselves, except... Wake up, look in the mirror, and just say "Fuck..." because they would know that they couldn't affect politics as much as they would like...
English

Imagine going up to 60's NASA like

Delta9250@deltaIV9250
If you went back in time and showed 60’s nasa what the next 50 years of spaceflight looked like do you think they’d do anything differently?
English

@booster_10 @Kieffer68234383 SpaceX also allows NSF to set up cameras on certain portions of their property.
English

This may be a controversial take but Relativity is way more open than SpaceX.
In fact SpaceX really isn't that open at all and we only know so much about Starship dev because they happened to build Starbase right next to a public highway.
Booster 10@booster_10
Really cool look inside Terran R's first stage tanks.
English

@WackMacs3D @Truthful_ast Its on CKAN if you use that, might be outdated though, haven't looked into that.
English

@Truthful_ast Where can I find that mod, I looked online but couldn’t find it for some reason
English

I can concur, it's by far the best representation of Kerbin

Jess@Sundancing_
tpr's kerbin is fucking gorgeous
English

@Replikangle171 @Sundancing_ @adrianthe402nd and the ksc didn't have 2 islands immediately infront of it
English

@Sundancing_ @adrianthe402nd Wish it wasnt so pixelated up close

@MikegazaurusR @NinRedtro @TheDoctorLogos They have sent plenty of things throughout the years around the moon, and into it's orbit, landed a few rovers on Mars, sent payloads past the inner planets to Jupiter and Saturn, and touched the Sun, they still got it.
English

@Booster__14 @NinRedtro @TheDoctorLogos I'm pretty sure I read some articles that NASA lost the know-how. Might be wrong tho. And yes, now that the space race was won there wasn't really any reason to go back there
English

@SpaceflightNow @ABernNYC Pictured here is the re-entry burn, as the landing burn isn't visible from so far away (because the earth is round)
English

Falcon 9 booster 1067, making a record-breaking 35th flight, fires three of its nine Merlin 1D engines to slow its descent as it plunges through the atmosphere to make a landing on a drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. 🎥 @ABernNYC
English

@MikegazaurusR @NinRedtro @TheDoctorLogos we still have the knowlege to land on the moon, but we currently don't have the vehicles. We lost the reason to, not the knowlege
English

@NinRedtro @TheDoctorLogos Thank Jimmy Carter. Afaik he made NASA turn their telescopes around and observe climate change or some shit and because of that the know-how of how to land on the Moon was lost.
English

@RhysDinnis @CosmicNomad44 @bscholl He does not understand that the 737 has it's wheel bay like this to make it easily servicable, lots of parts here are easy to maintain and replace if nessecary, but if a part within Raptor 3 breaks, they would have to cut apart the whole engine to get to it.
English

@Booster__14 @CosmicNomad44 @bscholl And I’m not an engineer, but I’d trust the CEO of boom, and if you don’t know WHY he was saying this I’d hope you could reconsider your education on the topic, why? Because the best part is not part even in a plane, but regulation is a bitch
English

@RhysDinnis @CosmicNomad44 @bscholl He is an armchair engineer, doesn't even understand why the wheel bay of the 737 doesn't look like raptor 3.
English

@CosmicNomad44 @bscholl Yes. It’s forced because no one here is actually smart enough to understand his prospective, it shows the gap between actual engineers and arm chair engineers
English

@AeroBigMike each part is meant to be easy to maintain, the only reason raptor 3 is like that is to recuce weight by making it not need sheilding. It should be so reliable in the future that parts won't need to be replaced, but when something breaks, they will just replace the whole engine
English

@Booster__14 @ChayanShar53620 @seekershivers I don't dislike spacex. I dislike people (like that ceo) who think something that is too complicated for a layman to understand = bad. Something that looks simple = good.
English

@curryfa9 @ChayanShar53620 @seekershivers Just seems like you are trying to say anything built by SpaceX always explodes, just for others who are not informed
English

@ChayanShar53620 @seekershivers And that's why it exploded. Meanwhile boeing is a shell of its former self and still makes safer airplanes than spacex rockets.
English

The world isn't ready for the growing pace of the Starship program, it was already moving faster than the majority of existing rocket programs despite having setbacks 🥱🥱
