For #FindsFriday this week we have a #Neolithic flint axe found in #Shackleford, Surrey. Its medium size tells us it was probably used for practical tasks like wood cutting. Bigger axes might have been exchanged for goods, or indicated social status. @surreyarch @SurreyHeritage
