What does a teacher’s role look like in an AI-driven future? At ASU+GSV Summit, our founder Adeel Khan joined Connor Zwick (Speak), David Rogier (MasterClass), and Larry Chu (Goodwin) on the panel “Burning Traditional Learning... Here Comes the Disruptors” to talk about how AI is reshaping education. As expected, it got spicy! 🌶️ Our take: teachers are the magic in a classroom, and always have been. In Hillsborough County Public Schools, 7,000 teachers are now using MagicSchool in their classrooms. Not to replace anything, but to support what’s already working. As their Chief Academic Officer explains, “Nothing can replace human interaction… nothing can ever replace a strong teacher in the classroom.” That’s exactly the point. The Tech Team is on a roll! We had 2 presentations at Northeastern. Then one of our alumni dropped by.His junior year his highest grade was a D (ouch!). He joined Tech Team his senior year, crushed it, and now he’s repairing electronics on planes for the Air Force. We R proud!

Just like teachers, school-based therapists tell us they’re spending too much time on documentation and not enough time with students. The Stepping Stones Group supports nearly 1,300 schools across 48 states. Their SLPs, OTs, and PTs were spending hours on session notes, IEP updates, and compliance reporting, often after the school day ended. Together, we built tools around their workflows, including documentation templates that reflect how they actually work, planning tools that reduce setup time for individualized programs, and a speech therapy companion.
