The press did not create the Bible or begin preservation; God had already kept His words before Gutenberg. But once the time was right, printing multiplied access, weakened religious gatekeepers, fueled the Reformation, helped move the English Bible stream forward, and placed Scripture into the hands of common people. The main point is simple: technology did not inspire Scripture, but God used technology to spread the Book He had already preserved.
