No sooner had Kang'ata of Metumi written his letter to UDAnites, than the UDAnites started writing long paragraphs

Sen. @scherargei: Can you believe that Sebastian Sawe who won the London Marathon is winning 48 million in award, but KRA are taking 18 million? I appeal to KRA not to touch the winnings of athletes and sportsmen. #SenateLive

1. The approved Capitation for primary school is capped at Ksh 1,400 per year. The funds are usually released by the National Treasury to the Ministry of Education on termly basis in the ratio of 50:30:20. 2. The capitation amount is arrived at based on clear expenditure lines (vote heads) that are determined by estimated costs incurred by EACH learner. 3. Upon receipt of the money, and based on the exact amount received, MoE releases the funds with an accompanying circular detailing the expenditure breakdown (vote heads). 4. The figures in reference to the circular are based on this practice. 5. In summary, MoE wishes to clarify the following: • MoE determines how much money is allocated to each vote head based on the total amount of capitation received from the National Treasury • Capitation funds are released on three phases corresponding to the school calendar terms • The circular in reference is based on the 2nd term tranche as received from National Treasury. • The amounts shown are per learner, not per school -The KSh 95.25 PER LEARNER is for learning materials only (books, stationery, etc.) -The KSh 93.08 PER LEARNER for school operations (staff, maintenance, utilities, exams) @EduMinKenya @_BasicEdu

Officers in Nanyuki killed Kelvin Ngatia and arrested the girl he was with. When they realized what they had done, they decided to cover up by accusing him to be an armed robber. The gun you see above came from the police officers and they are trying to twist the story. We are now normalizing extrajudicial killings and use of excess force to silence decent. A protest is being organized to demand justice for Kelvin Ngatia. #JusticeForMingili
