๐จBREAKING: ICE agents, working with state police, pulled over a vehicle, in Ogden, Utahโฆ and smashed their car window because he wouldnโt roll it down all the way.
Watch the shiftโฆ because this is where it goes from aggressive to completely out of control.
The driver already has the window partially open. The ICE agent is yelling, giving a countdown, threatening to break the windowโฆ while another officer is trying to open the door from the other side.
No explanation, or clear threatโฆ Just escalation.
Then, someone inside says, โIโm a U.S. citizenโฆ you pointed a gun at me.โ
And thatโs the moment everything changes.
Instead of pulling backโฆ instead of correctingโฆ instead of even acknowledging itโฆ
The ICE agent snaps.
โI donโt give a shit who you are, I donโt know you.โ
And then he immediately escalates furtherโฆ raises the metal barโฆ and starts hitting the windowโฆ doubling down on force.
A person says you pointed a gun at themโฆ and your response is not to de-escalateโฆ
Itโs to get MORE aggressive.
Thatโs retaliation.
They call them โnon-compliantโโฆ and within seconds, the window is smashed and the driver is dragged out.
And it doesnโt stop there.
The passengerโฆ who is recordingโฆ gets told to โstay thereโ while the officer puts his hand on his gun.
He responds, โIโm recording for my safety.โ
The officer shuts the door on him anyway.
When he opens it again and steps outโฆ and then the officer physically shoves him back into the car.
This is what needs to be understoodโฆ
The escalation didnโt come from a threat.
It came the second someone spoke upโฆ
the second someone said, โyou pointed a gun at meโโฆ
The second someone started documenting it.
Thatโs when it got worse.
Thatโs when it turned physical.
Thatโs when the window broke.
And thatโs what should alarm peopleโฆ because thatโs not about safety anymore.
Thatโs about being challengedโฆ and responding with more force.
