Took a look into the Wallpaper Engine malware reports. A good way to reduce your risk is to check your installed wallpapers and make sure you aren’t using any Application wallpapers. You may also want to avoid Web wallpapers unless you trust the creator. For future downloads, use the Workshop filters and leave Application and Web unchecked. Stick to Scene and Video wallpapers from reputable creators whenever possible. An Application wallpaper can run code on your PC, so treat it with the same caution you’d give any software download. 💙
