It's not the Horror Movies, it's the Bills that scares me. Middle Class is a curse, it forces you to have certain expenditures even though you don't want to. Starting with a forced 2BHK in a residential area that suits the Middle Class & not any random area.

No more drama! Siddaramaiah during breakfast meeting has said that Congress high command has proposed DK Shivakumar as the next Chief Minister for Karnataka and that he has agreed to this. He has also urged upon the leaders to follow the directions of the high command.

It is so happy to see that a hard-working and bold adv Madam Smt V Mohana is being made a Judge of the Supreme Court. She is always an inspiration to me. I have had very few interactions with her and all of them are very cherishing.

Ms Moitra should rather say who in the ruling party ought to be investigated, instead of merely claiming that only the Opposition is being targeted. There is no rule stating that people in the Opposition cannot face ED raids or similar investigative actions. If there is mala fide intent, then the matter should be challenged before the Court. On the other hand, if the question is, “How come only Opposition leaders are subjected to raids and investigations?”, then it must be followed by identifying who in the ruling party — despite being known to have committed predicate offences — is not being prosecuted by the State. I do not expect you to go to Court and demonstrate why they must be arrested, or to conduct a full-fledged case like the 2G matter. But at the very least, show a prima facie case that members of the ruling party who have committed predicate offences are being allowed to go scot-free.

Mine was when I saw a co-intern being denied the access to the SCC/Manupatra database to do research and reassigned that research to me. That student was from a humble background, the laptop display was broken and yet the office was so rude to her. I hope I never those advs again

@ShutUpCounsel I think the problem lies in both the sides. If you try to bring up the discussion about the need for rationalisation in reservations it is instantly labelled as anti-whatever. This leaves only extreme rhetorics as the surviving debate.

I was just wondering. It is fine to have a discussion, disagreement on reservations. Even I believe that reservation should be reformed with internal reservations, horizontal application of certain reservations, creamy layer (constantly reviewed and revised periodically and applied to all) and such other things. We all can have debates on these things. But why do people cross this and start attacking Dalits, Ambedkar, just spew hatred against the SC/ST, and vilify them? One must realise that their hatred for Dalits is one of the reasons why reservation must continue. Day in and day out, abusing the Dalits and then expect them to just abide by you in the name of Hindutva/Hindu Ekta/National Integrity/Social Tranquillity and peaceful coexistence just makes you a hypocrite cuz on one hand you abuse them (without stopping) and on the other hand lecture them to peacefully coexist and forgive the atrocities... It is not nice. We need to first understand that the problem is not the reservation but the hatred against Dalits and other Bahujan groups. Maybe once the hatred reduces and surname-based bias is dropped, things may start to change.
