I also don't believe the ref watched it on the screen, I think he saw the same thing we did on tv (his actions suggested as such). But because they are only brought to the screen to overturn decisions he just overturned it anyway rather than wait for them to fix the issue

Still don’t get why VAR turned this over?

If you’ve not watched Anne - One Mother’s Story you should really try to track it down. I think it may be on ITVX.

Maxine Peake plays Anne Williams in her campaign for justice for her son Kevin, who tragically lost his life in the Hillsborough disaster.
It is a heartbreaking story and a must-watch for anyone, not just Liverpool fans, who needs educating on the events on that day and the ongoing legal battle over the years.

On the 37th anniversary of the tragedy at Hillsborough, the SWFC Supporters’ Trust decided to lay its tribute at the newly renovated Peoples’ and Traders’ memorial at the top of Leppings Lane. A team of volunteers, led by Jean and Julie, decided to tidy up the memorial and worked to involve the club, the City Council, and the Trust, which financed the renovation of the memorial stone. The Trust reaffirms its solidarity with all of those affected by the tragedy. #swfc

🚨🎙️Cole Palmer when ask one of the Impressive young player he admires in the premier league.
🗣️| wow that’s going to be Ngumoha from Liverpool, he’s very Impressive and to me and delivers good football… recently I watch him bullying defenders with his skillful dribbles and that cut in score, this makes him one of the young ones coming up in the premier league I love to watch him play (Laughs).

🚨 🗣️ | Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on Beating Liverpool:
🎙️ “I know we beat Liverpool, but honestly, they are one of the strongest teams we’ve faced. The intensity, the pressing, the way they keep pushing for every ball it’s different. They gave us a much tougher game than Arsenal and Aston Villa did last season, and you can really feel their experience and quality on the pitch.
Even when we were ahead, there was no moment to relax because they are the kind of team that can punish you instantly. Their mentality is top level they never stop fighting, they never give up, and that’s what makes them so dangerous. You always feel like they are still in the game no matter the score.
I’m very happy we won because I believe we deserved it with the way we played, our discipline, and how we took our chances. But at the same time, I have a lot of respect for Liverpool. They pushed us until the final whistle, and games like this are decided by very small details.
Personally, I enjoy matches like this because they challenge you to be at your absolute best. You learn a lot from playing against teams of this level, and it helps you grow as a player. Liverpool showed great character, great quality, and a strong spirit.
I want to give them credit because not every team would fight like that when things are not going their way. They stayed organized, they kept attacking, and they made it very difficult for us until the very end.
I wish them all the best for the rest of the season. They are definitely a team that will keep competing at the highest level, and I’m sure they will cause a lot of problems for many teams in the league.”
