From 2:50 onwards, I swear, I have never seen anything like this before. Argentina, best fans in the world. 🇦🇷

Bernardo Silva: “I see the same hunger to succeed in the new guys. Now they know the standards of this club, the standard required, that we set in the last eight or nine years. It gives them even more hunger to go for it and to say, ‘Look, we're also capable of that.’
"This club in the last years, we proved if you want to be a part of it, you need to be a winner. These guys that have joined in the last two or three years, they're really, really good. They can put this club exactly where it was - a place where we can fight for titles every season.
"I see the fire in their eyes and that’s a very good thing..." [via @ManCity]

Bernardo Silva: “I try to be an example on the pitch, in every training session. The main thing is to respect each other, create roles and standards, be very competitive.
"I remember when Riyad @Mahrez22 was here performing at such a high level - I knew had to match and try beat that. Every player has a different personality and character, but @fernandinho and @VincentKompany - my first captains - were very good examples. Not only in the way they welcomed me but to make sure I felt at home from day one. That's what we as older guys try to make newer guys feel.
"I want them to feel relaxed and comfortable to maximise their talents because they have huge talent..." [via @ManCity]

Bernardo Silva: "Culturally, Portuguese and English are quite different; the weather, the food, the way of living is a bit different. I always joke that if #ManCity was a bit more [in the] south of Europe, I'd stay until people kicked my ass out! Because I truly love the football club, my teammates, the staff, the fans, the stadium, the atmosphere - everything about my professional life!
"Then, the other side of my life, it's different because I'm not saying I don't like, but culturally it's not 100% what I'd ideally want. So in some moments you're not feeling as happy as you want. Before I met my wife, I was alone in Manchester for a period where I didn't feel that well with myself. I definitely thought a lot about leaving, not because I didn't like the football club - which I really love - but because of the other side of my life.
"At the end, it didn't happen. I'm really happy it didn't! Because I would've probably lost the opportunity to live the memories of the treble, four-in-a-row, opportunity of being a captain, in the leadership group, passing experience to the young guys, trying to put the club back where it deserves. But if Manchester City was in Lisbon, I'd stay until I'm 40..." [via @ManCity]

Bernardo Silva on #ManCity fans: "From day one, I always felt a great connection with them.
"We were talking [earlier in the interview] about me thinking about leaving [at one point in his career], and there was those first games of the season where a lot of news was coming out, and you go into that game with a feeling, 'Are they not happy?' The reaction from the fans was always unbelievable in a surprising way! In other places, maybe I would've been boo'd or something.
"Here, the way they always respected me as a player and person, welcomed me, then respected and helped me - maybe it was one of the main things that kept me staying at this club for so long! The way they also approved of me as a player, someone that always gave 100% on the pitch. The relationship with the fans has definitely been really, really good..." [via @ManCity]

Bernardo Silva on trophy parade memories with #ManCity fans: "It's what football is about. What you want is your fans to feel proud and feel you gave everything. And when you win, even more! That's all you fight for.
"Knowing the story of this football club, what they've gone through, having to watch Man United win so much and so much, and now since I've been here we always finished above them in the Premier League. For us to be above them, the feeling we give them, it's really nice!
"To see that appreciation, it's really good we make them feel proud and make them feel happy..." [via @ManCity]
