He passed landmark legislation to rebuild our nation’s infrastructure and address the threat of climate change.    I’m grateful to Joe for his leadership, his friendship, and his lifetime of service to this country we love.

For parents struggling what to tell their children today; • Focus on democratic values and institutions, not individuals. Our system is bigger than any one person • Emphasize respect, kindness and inclusion. These values matter regardless of who's president • Encourage critical thinking • Reassure kids that many people are working to uphold rights and protections for all • Use this as a chance to teach about elections, government, and civic participation • Listen to your child's concerns. Validate their feelings while providing age-appropriate context • Model respectful dialogue, even about views you disagree with. Kids learn from our example but most of all- hug them and squeeze them even if they don’t like it

We just won our Senate race! As a son of immigrants, a public school kid, I never could’ve imagined I’d get to serve as a US Senator. I’m deeply humbled and grateful to NJ and for everyone who got us here. I promise I’ll serve with honor and integrity as a public servant for all.

I just brought my kids to go vote! Proud for them to see their dad’s name on the ballot for US Senator. My parents immigrated to America 50 yrs ago and today I could become the first ever Korean American Senator in history. Thank you everyone for staying in line to vote!
