40/ The board told EH that the EGM is to finalise the details to re-clad the building. Sounds great but given there is no money and they didn't do what they were supposed to all this is questionable.

39/ Meanwhile our requisition for an EGM was noted and they called one on extremely short notice. Its 9 days out and not all members have received notice.

41/ Meanwhile the fire service came back with with their investigations into the situation and confirmed what we all suspected: they didn't serve any enforcement notice to remove the cladding 🥴

42/ There was only a fire report: "the external wall system should be assessed by a competent person to determine that it meets the requirements of The Building Regulations for surface spread of flame."

Mould may not be the tenant's fault, but drying clothes indoors or boiling lots of water while cooking and never opening windows, or taking evening showers, are all lifestyle factors that in colder months will increase locked-in water vapour, condensation & black mould ...

Y'day EH said the board & MA claimed that the fire service applied enforcement action to remove our cladding within 2 weeks.
I just received an email from the fire service which states the complete opposite.
Karma.

Why are these reports never shared with leaseholders? Why do freeholders/boards/Ma's get away with gatekeeping this information?
Our MA refused to show us our fire report for 1 Yr so we had to do an FOI request.

Our MA are now saying (to EH) that they had a prohibition order served to remove our cladding in two weeks.
But all other documentation contradicts this.
