Progress of Works at Akii-Bua Olympic Stadium, Lira City Construction works at Akii-Bua Olympic Stadium continue to make steady progress. The laying of the roofing membrane commenced a few days ago, while the installation of seats in the ordinary section is ongoing alongside the fixing of the roofing trusses. The drainage system for the main pitch has already been completed, with the remaining tasks being final leveling and grass planting. Works on the stadium's façade are also progressing well. Construction activities are equally underway on the auxiliary facilities, including the training pitches, swimming pool, dormitories, and mini arena. SAMCO remains on site as works continue toward the completion of this major sports infrastructure project.
