8 seasons of futility for the @AtlantaFalcons. And no end in sight. The Coach and GM have to go. I said it two years ago and nobody wanted to hear it. The signing of Kirk Cousins while drafting Micael Penix Jr. is one of the worst moves in NFL history. Our GM had a laundry list of needs in 2021 and went with Kyle Pitts who's a total bust. He went with Troy Andersen over Nik Bonitto. We gave Darnell Mooney $26M guaranteed and he's right back to being the inconsistent player he was in Chicago. We don't have a first round pick in 2026, because we had tunnel vision on James Pearce Jr. He may have a long career here but the impact on this season vs the pick you gave up is negligible at best. We have great individual stars in Bijan & Drake and potential on defense. We have no idea what Michael Penix Jr. is, and we won't get to see him the rest of the year. This team makes too many mistakes and cannot give you 4 quarters of solid play. Combined with horrendous gameplans, it's a recipe for another lost season. Then there's hiring a retread coach because the organization didn't have the balls to roll the dice with a first time HC on the heels of Arthur Smith. How uninspiring. Horrible assistant coaching hires. Now we're left with 2 more months of football with Kirk Cousins under center. I don't know who Rich McKay will suggest to Arthur Blank this off season but if past is prologue, we're screwed.
