NEW: A major milestone in the beagle release at Ridglan Farms in Wisconsin. @BDRRescue out of Florida has now removed all 1,000 dogs it purchased from the breeding and research facility. I was on the ground in Dane County as the group's final batch arrived at the staging area.

This is Truffles, a rescue cat in Pennsylvania, USA, adopted by an optician named Danielle Crull who fits glasses for children. Many of her young patients are terrified of having anything near their eyes, so Truffles walks into the room wearing her own tiny frames to show them it’s nothing to be afraid of. She has 20 pairs, and even wears a little eye patch on demand for kids being treated for lazy eye.
