Tonight, we gathered outside ICE for the Feast of St. Óscar Romero.

In prayer and public witness, we honored a saint who refused to be silent in the face of injustice.

As Romero stood with the poor and oppressed, we stand with immigrants and families harmed by detention and deportation.

Our faith demands more than remembrance — it demands action.

St. Óscar Romero, pray for us.

ICE at airports is a growing reality 🛫 — and our communities deserve to be informed, not intimidated. Travelers should know: you still have rights at the airport. Stay alert, stay prepared, and do not face these encounters alone. We know all too well what happens when ICE operated with unchecked power. Increasing funding for ICE and CBP will not keep us safe ❌ — it will only deepen harm, separate families, and expand unjust enforcement. 📢 Tell your Senators 📢 NO more harmful ICE and CBP funding without permanent changes to their operations. Click here to take action: bit.ly/4ssB8BZ

As we mark the 16th Anniversary of the Affordable Care Act, millions are facing skyrocketing premiums, lost coverage, and hospital closures, while $1T was cut from care to fund tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy. As people of faith, we believe health care is a lifeline, not a luxury. #affordablehealthcare

We all carry crosses. Like Christ, we can feel the weight and sometimes we fall. But what if the world looked different? What if grace, compassion, and hope shaped the way we functioned in our country? 💭 Take a moment to reflect. Download our Stations of the Cross reflections, link in bio!

NETWORK Lobby showed up in solidarity with our Muslim siblings on Capitol Hill as our Executive Director Laurie Carafone and Laura Peralta-Schulte, our Senior Director of Public Policy and Government Relations, joined the @mpac_national Muslim Public Affairs Council and Shoulder to Shoulder demanding the Speaker Johnson hold Rep. Andy Olges accountable for the Islamophobic remarks he made on the House floor. The first amendment grants everyone in this country to the freedom of religion and we showed up to uphold that right. As harmful, hate-driven rhetoric continues to target Muslim communities we remain committed to our Catholic call to uphold human dignity and act in solidarity with all communities facing injustice.

Minister Christian Watkins of NETWORK joined faith leaders, elected officials, and voting rights advocates to speak out against the SAVE Act ahead of the Senate vote. We must come together against this voter suppression tactic and protect access to the ballot. Democracy works best when everyone can participate—and we won’t back down. Call your Senators at (202) 915-4877 and urge them to protect voting rights. ------- Slide 1: Minister Christian Watkins NETWORK's Government Relations Advocate with Maya Wiley, President and CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. NETWORK joined elected officials like @SenatorWarnock , impacted voters, and voting rights advocates to speak out against the SAVE America Act ahead of the Senate vote. Pressure is mounting from some legislators pushing extreme, Jim Crow-like anti-voter measures, that if passed, put millions of eligible American voters at risk of losing their right to vote. Let’s protect our vote together. Democracy works best when everyone can participate—and we won’t back down. ☎️ Call your Senators at (202) 915-4877 and urge them to protect voting rights!

NETWORK's Executive Director Laurie Carafone joined faith leaders, advocates, and members of the Haitian community today outside the Supreme Court to urge the court to protect Temporary Protected Status for Haitians. Together, people of faith are bearing witness to what’s at stake: families, safety, and the moral responsibility to protect our neighbors. We join the call for compassion, justice, and unity—and for our leaders to protect the dignity and safety of Haitian families. #ProtectTPS #FaithInAction #ImmigrantJustice

Today we celebrate the faith, courage, and missionary spirit of St. Patrick — the man who (legend has it) used a simple shamrock 🍀 to explain the mystery of the Holy Trinity. So raise a toast (or at least a cup of coffee ☕) to the saint who turned Ireland green in more ways than one. Slàinte! St. Patrick, pray for us! #StPatricksDay #Catholic #SaintPatrick

Faith leaders and advocates from across the nation will gather for a press conference outside the Supreme Court as they decide if the administration can revoke Temporary Protective Status (TPS) for Haitians. The convening will bear public witness to the moral stakes of the case, and feature speakers who will emphasize the human consequences of the decision and to call for compassion, justice, and family unity. The press conference aims to elevate the voices of those directly impacted and urge national leaders to protect Haitian families from deportation.
