Valko fans correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think any of us really just want them the say “jk here’s Valko” and for that to be the end of it? Why would I want that? it would just make everything worse and mean I have to keep defending my LI from people on the internet which I genuinely do not enjoy doing. I want infold to give a proper statement about game updates. I want them to admit they handled this situation poorly and actually apologize for the insensitive things they’ve done. I want them to promise they’re going to start actually listening to fan complaints in these surveys they ask us to fill out all the damn time. I want them to give us a clear roadmap of what to expect the next few months that includes lighting fixes, resource farming, and story updates and roughly when we can expect those things to actually show up in the game. And then yes, I want them to continue with valko’s release. But Valko’s release with no other meaningful action is going to feel like a bandaid on a bullet wound at this point and that’s not what I want. I've seen so many anti-boycott people complaining that Valko lovers are bullying the other LI's and that we're a cult for that. Are y'all okay?? All of us have other mains, except a very select few who played without a bias. I've been chronically online for the past 4 days, and through the 2+ million tweets we've sent out about this, I haven't seen anyone putting down LI's. The only exception is people joking around about their own LI's, in a loving way. Y'all know that some people show love by teasing each other, right?? Those of us who have mains already are focusing on Valko right now because this is what's required to focus on right now to create change. But you'd better believe when Valko is released I will be fully enjoying BOTH of them. If you're so small minded that you can't put instant gratification aside for a few days, a week, or as long as it takes, then maybe YOU need to reconsider your values. The silence is slowly driving me crazy. This game brought me comfort for so long… I usually don’t talk much about my private life here but the truth is that I went through a pretty bad breakup in 2024, which took a toll on my mental health. Even though I knew leaving was the right decision I still felt so insecure. Love and Deepspace helped me accept that it’s okay to prioritize myself and that true love still exists. Don’t get me wrong I’m not delusional enough to expect a hero to come and save me, but it helped me be more confident… So them going back on their word and saying that Valko is cancelled really broke my heart into a million pieces. From his PV alone I knew that he was the missing piece I was looking for in this game. I’m not saying Caleb and Sylus aren’t enough, I’ll always love them, but there is just so much more love I had to give. Seeing how clingy Valko is with the MC really healed a part of me bc I wish that one day I’ll find someone who’s just as affectionate. I know there are people who will read this and probably laugh at me, but tbh I don’t care.
