Said it right back then, but I’m very confident it’s Alvarez. €150m is the exact amount it’d take for Atleti to sell, and Perez made a cheeky comment about “going to the club first.” Folks interpreted it as a dig at Riquelme, but it could well be Barça too. From a political standout, this is a very Perez thing to do.
