@chaseAEd All early AS sword blades were #patternwelded; this blade has a simpler core formed of 2 twisted billets, plus steel edges, but many were far more complex. Like many c6-7th swords it lacks a fuller. Pommel is cast Cu-alloy with simple dot decoration, fixed by 2 pins & Cu roves.
