I am enjoying an oil painting where each brushstroke changes their expression.

I created two oil paintings of Antoinette.
One reinterprets the famous portrait by Lebrun within the world of Innocent.
The other depicts a younger Antoinette.
Both works incorporate a certain device, aiming to approach Antoinette not as a historical symbol, but as a human being.

In the lowlands, news spread of a “missing party.”
Amid it all, Buntarō Mori alone made his way back to town,
and began recounting the entire ordeal to the detectives.
Near the end of the traverse, they were struck by an avalanche on Mount Eboshi.
Mori rescued Niimi, only to be left in a stranded bivouac.
In the silence of extreme isolation,
what kind of “end” did they behold…?
