COTC notes: The 2025 Montgomery duo of 6-2 G Xair Mendez and 6-5 F JJ Sanchez led a furious comeback to give their team a 111-107 win in the Creme de la Creme game after trailing by 22. Mendez’s defense and shotmaking and Sanchez’s scoring and playmaking were impressive.

COTC Notes: The biggest surprise of the event was 6-7 2026 W Tim Dorn (Mira Mesa), whose family just arrived to SD after a naval tour in Hawaii. The long, wiry wing has high major athleticism and length, and scores it effectively attacking the basket with his dominant hand.
