48 names were listed as sponsors of terrorism, and none of them is Yoruba. The truth is, terrorism can neither thrive in Yoruba land nor originate from Yoruba people. The concept of Omoluabi, used to describe the Yoruba, carries deep values and significant moral weight.

Here, Prof. Wole Soyinka relived his 26 months prison ordeal during the civil war, following accusations by the Nigerian govt that he was siding with Biafran separatists. He was held in solitary confinement without trial. Today, some misbegotten kids and their useless parents say dem no send am… 🤗

Se e n gboro lenu were. No other tribe was more critical of Obasanjo than the Yoruba. The Yoruba protested to have Jonathan as acting president. Jonathan won in 2011 with massive support from the South West. Buhari was extremely defended by Yorubas, to the point that some of us were shocked, despite Osinbajo being denied an acting role on some occasions. Pastor Adeboye staged a walk under Buhari, not under Jonathan. These bigots wouldn't stop because they must project themselves onto others.

PRESIDENT TINUBU FELICITATES RENOWNED INDUSTRIALIST, ALIKO DANGOTE, ON HIS BIRTHDAY President Bola Tinubu extends warm felicitations to Alhaji Aliko Dangote (GCON), Africa’s leading industrialist, accomplished businessman, and Chairman of Dangote Group, on his birthday on Friday, April 10.   President Tinubu acknowledges Dangote's outstanding contributions to Nigeria and Africa’s economic growth and industrial development.   “Aliko’s entrepreneurial vision, resilience, innovation, and commitment to excellence have transformed industries and positioned Nigeria as a hub for large-scale petrochemical and cement production through his establishment of the multi-billion-dollar Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company and cement factories across Africa.   “I salute Aliko for his conglomerate's role in job creation, infrastructure development, and unwavering belief in the Nigerian economy and its potential. Dangote remains a shining example of African enterprise, whose achievements continue to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs across the continent.   “I also applaud Aliko's philanthropic efforts, particularly through the Dangote Foundation, which have significantly impacted lives in health, education, and poverty alleviation.   "As Aliko marks another year, I pray for his continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in service to Nigeria, Africa, and humanity," the President says.   Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy) April 10, 2026
