A close friend of mine is cancelling his voter registration today. He is convinced Spencer Pratt was robbed of the election. I explained to him that in California we count absentees first (which skew older and more conservative) and election day voters are younger and more Democratic. The slow count is largely because of policies to maximize participation, including postmarking a ballot on Election Day. Regardless, we need to figure out in California how we can get the vote counted faster and results tabulated so it does not drag on. We should make the investments in operational improvements and resources in the wealthiest state in the nation. It is worth spending the resources to get the vast majority of the vote counted within 48 hours. Right now the system is eroding trust and spawning conspiracy theories.

“What’s the evidence of fraud?” This is a trick question posed by Democrats. Here’s the reality: California does NOTHING to detect fraud. So how would we see it? It’s like a jewelry store being robbed, glass broken, diamonds stolen, but the idiot shop owners don’t have security cameras or an alarm. So they don’t SEE how the crime was committed. But they see the broken glass and their diamonds gone. The entire election system in California is build EXACTLY for that purpose: To allow cheating and rigging but to hide HOW the crimes are committed. You have no obligation to provide proof of fraud when California provides no proof of legitimacy. The burden of proof is on them. You have no obligation to trust a rigged system, and in fact would be naive to do so.

RAJU: But what evidence is there to prove the California election is rigged? MIKE JOHNSON: Look, some of these efforts are so diabolical and so far upstream it's impossible to prove. But I think everybody knows instinctively that something is wrong here.
