sorry to break it to you but you literally have to face your fears and slaughter them. otherwise you will live a small life that you do not want. you literally have to view your biggest fears and attack them head on. you have to fall into the abyss to find your way out. the easy path does not exist. there is no get out of jail free card. you have to allow yourself to die a spiritual death over and over again in order to reinvent yourself into the person you are actually supposed to be. and you have to be painfully honest with yourself and the people around you. it’s horrible but it’s truly the only way.

How can you do this?
Ask yourself “What are they doing repeatedly that software could do once?"
For example:
=> A school manually sending fee reminders to parents.
=> A church tracking attendance in Excel.
=> A pharmacy taking inventory with pen and paper.
=> A logistics company updating customers through WhatsApp.
Then build the smallest thing that saves them time or makes them money and add to your portfolio.
And if you can show that your project reduced e.g a 4-hour weekly task to 15 minutes, you've just created a stronger portfolio piece than 10 tutorial clones.

As a beginner in tech, stop applying for jobs without proof of what you can do. Your certificates, your todo apps and Netflix clone are practically useless in today’s market. Build real projects, solve real problems, create real business value, then spend most of your effort finding opportunities through referrals, communities, and other back channels.
