#CapeVerde eliminated #malaria.   It gives me great pleasure to announce that on the advice of the @WHO Technical Advisory Group on Malaria Elimination and Certification and the WHO Malaria Policy Advisory Group, I have certified Cabo Verde as malaria-free.   I congratulate the government and people of 🇨🇻, and all partners, on this historic achievement. #EndMalaria
