Q2 2024 Shareholder Update → ir.tesla.com — Highlights We continued to expand our vehicle lineup globally, with new trims of Model 3 & Y as well as new S3XY paint options. Vehicle - Refreshed Model 3 ramp continued successfully - We also continue to qualify more Model 3 trims for the IRA Tax Credit - @Cybertruck production more than tripled sequentially, remaining on track for profitability by end of 2024 - Ongoing preparation of Semi factory, on track for production to start by end of 2025 - Giga Berlin began producing RHD vehicles & delivered its first units to @Tesla_UK AI & hardware (@Tesla_AI) - Most notably, we rolled out a version of FSD Supervised that primarily relies on eye tracking software to monitor driver attentiveness - Other key focus areas included continued reduction of interventions, while improving driver comfort - @Tesla_Optimus is performing its first task handling batteries in one of our factories - South extension of Giga Texas is nearing completion (will house our largest cluster of H100s yet) Vehicle & other software - Our vehicles continue to improve long after they were delivered via free OTA software updates: Our Spring Release included an immersive full-screen vehicle controls view in Park & various other UI improvements, a native Audible app, Hands-Free Trunk for vehicles with the necessary hardware, & more Battery, Powertrain & Manufacturing - In Q2, we produced 50% more 4680 cells vs Q1 & continue to see cost improvements - Started validation of vehicle testing for our first prototype @Cybertruck with in-house dry cathode 4680 cells in July – a major cost reduction milestone once ramped Energy (@TeslaEnergy) - @Tesla_Megapack & Powerwall achieved record deployment in Q2 – 9.4GWh of total storage deployments! - Powerwall 3 now available in the UK, Canada & Germany, in addition to the US
