digging into this thing after a few folks have glowed about it (@Pas2 most recently I think!), really stunner stuff (dare I say volcanic???), shuffling around an unsteady pulse with bouts of explosiveness. Aiming towards Shredder or Swooner here I think!

This is very good. I don’t think I’ve heard it on any platform, physical or digital. Nothing synthesized on this one. I’m correlating less synthesized instruments with greater enjoyment of Abercrombie. Besides Abercrombie: Beirach, Mraz, Peter Donald.

floating on this on again this morning; sorta had it as wallpaper music the one time I listened, which it works fine as, but (unsurprisingly) this squad is playing with some absolutely stunning melodies here!

Ok not gonna go overboard for ECM equinox but these are my four horseman of “Wait, ECM albums can sound like this?”

now Swooning: a perfect example of what nudges a record into that category, a hearty mix of Shred and Float that's constantly soaring itself to the heavens!!!

digging into this thing as I work down in the library stacks for a while; I was a fan of Spirits so I'm excited to see where this one heads off to!

Digging into this one now; kinda surprised how much I like it, with Garbarek and Torn both wrangling in my least favorite schmaltz/shriek tendencies of theirs in favor of a gorgeous melodic fog

alright alright, one more ECM grail acquisition for the week I guess;

I WANTED TO HEAR “INTRUDE”!!!!!!!!

This one is cool because it’s got Weber playing like BASS bass, as opposed to his usual Mystical Space Harp Modulator bass. I like both!
