@IceTrainerBen I think a fair amount of the reason Xerneas and Yveltal were not in SV is that tera with Xerneas would be genuinely one of the most unfathomably awful things to exist for competitive play.

I remember when everyone was like “NO ONE SAW THIS COMING” when Z-A was revealed but Yveltal and Xerneas were the only box legends not in Scarlet and Violet, and Furfrou, Patrat line, and elemental monkeys needed a switch entry so a Kalos game was literally the only option

@MaxKetchum_ @45mice The issue with CTS is that players with a bigger network of friends have an advantage as a tournament progresses. It becomes an issue when information is unequally revealed on either side. If anything, OTS has made better players more consistent & serious players tend to like it

@45mice Singles vet brand new to VGC here. Isn’t this also an argument against open team sheets in general? Personally I think it’s super wack that movesets and items have to be revealed. Does the playerbase generally dislike OTS?

Major negative change for creativity, and removes some skill expression. Nature reveals massive information. Now creative EV training like Jolly incin, bold Floette, modest vs timid are now easier to flowchart and lose their surprise.

the *actual* primary reason is that I don’t want to spend money, but if there was a dragapult clothing brand collab I would pay a lot for a shirt/jacket. Even if it’s not in my top 10 favs, but still something I *like*, I would be more likely to get it than Gengar collab item 246

tbh I’m starting to feel like official Pokémon brand collab merchandise only ever having Kanto starters+Pikachu+Gengar is becoming an issue, because some of it is very cool product, but the fact I can’t have more variety in pokémon is almost the primary reason I’m not wanting it.

@WeedleTwineedle I swear there’s going to be some format where hydrapple is good. Its stats are too good for it to suck, but this format just being Reg H 3.0+Megas feels too hostile for it.

Helping Hand would have been cute on supersweet syrup Hydrapple to make moves like heat wave and rock slide consistent while increasing their damage.

May just be because I was in arts, but do people not have enjoyment in saying “this is my work that came from my brain?”
Also it’s proven that using AI for critical and creative thinking makes you worse at it when AI use is removed. People shouldn’t let themselves get stupider.

Let’s be honest. All these people upset about college students using AI are just jealous they didn’t have it when they were in college. They just want them to suffer like they did. It’s an old story: “Well if I suffered, they should too.” It’s also a morally repugnant position.

Even though I like the Pokémon in 1 better, getting Togekiss (my 2nd fav ever) and then using your mega to get a worse version of Togekiss that doesn’t have an item slot, and doesn’t either crit or flinch with half of its attacks is just not worth it.

Tried watching the Grammy’s for once since I’ve never seen it live b4 and it was a total snooze fest. They need to do something to make it more interesting. Everyone looks nice yeah… but that’s it. It’s not entertaining

@alycoldplaykid Totally doable. Most Coldplay songs will use four to six chords. The way Chris plays is a little weird cause he’ll change the tunings for a lot of acoustic stuff so it might take a while to get to that point, but to play along with the simpler songs won’t take too long.
