This was as close to a no-knock as you can get without it being a no-knock.
The guy on the loudspeaker is garbled and hard to understand. He announced for about 20 seconds. Police at the door just said "come outside" no announcement of intention or affiliation.
38 seconds after being on scene the police open the door.
During getting the woman and children out, they still did not announce themselves. The victim most likely awoke to the sound of kids screaming and men yelling (not in English).
12 seconds after that he enters the living room with a firearm to see what is going on. Never raised or said anything.
The police did not command him to drop it or stop or even that they were the police.
Bad shoot. Really bad.
I think all child predators should burn, but the police messed up big time here.
Why not just grab the dude they were looking for at work, or on his way out of the house, gas station, or really anywhere else?
The raiding of homes needs to stop unless there are circumstances where it is the only way.
