For those in the parish who have run out of food as a result of a power outage, the Food Bank will be open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. For more information please call the Food Bank at (985) 851-5523. The Food Bank is located at 254 Magnolia Street in Houma.

As of 12:30 p.m. today, more than 12,000 #Lafourche Parish residents were without power due to #HurricaneBarry. @EntergyLA & #SLECA will restore power to customers as soon as possible, but it's not a fast process. Check out this timelapse of workers setting a new pole. #lawx
