@Jae1ya
I sing, program, watch anime, and fail consistently enough to call it a trend. I post things I find interesting; not endorsements.

The Licensing Alliance just changed H.264 video royalties for new licenses starting in 2026.
Big streaming services used to pay a maximum of $100,000 per year.
Now the cap is much higher up to $4.5 million for the largest platforms.
Old 2025 licenses stay the same. Small or new services still pay the lower rate.

🚨🇯🇵BREAKING
Japan Moves to Criminalize “online misinformation”
Japan’s parliament is now seriously debating new laws to crack down on “fake news and defamatory information” spread on social media during elections. While politicians claim it’s about protecting democracy, the real target is any criticism of vaccines, mass immigration, or globalist policies.
The proposal, pushed in the current Diet session, aims to regulate what the government and ruling parties label as “misinformation” — specifically content questioning vaccine safety and effectiveness, highlighting problems with rapid foreign worker intake, or opposing globalist agendas. Opponents warn the changes would directly threaten the freedom of expression guaranteed by Japan’s Constitution.
With unified local elections coming next spring, both sides agree some rules are needed, but the debate is now centering on how far the crackdown can go without turning into outright censorship of dissenting voices on vaccines, immigration, and anti-globalism.

Someone trained AI on her music, got a distributor for it, the distributor then copyright claimed her videos and music that the AI was trained on, effectively stealing her money. An absolute outrage, AI and AI powered scammers are strangling creatives.
MERICA MEMED@Mericamemed
Now this is one wild story. The amount of lawsuits coming down the pipeline with stories like this is going to be astronomical.

Lol, that's interesting since he was VERY excited to work with me and claimed to be a big fan when it benefitted him. Now that he's trying to break into TV, suddenly he's filled with "regret". Good luck sucking all that Hollywood dick, buddy. Hope it's worth it.

Matt Dinniman, author of Dungeon Crawler Carl, has choice words for The Critical Drinker: "I regret that my books have any association whatsoever with him. I hope one day to have his part in book three removed all together. It's a distraction, and the only edgelord douchebag I want people to think of when they read my books is the AI itself." Why did he feel the need to do this?

We are witnessing the end of the USA-dominated world order. The current US administration’s policies are leading us in that direction.
Europe is getting stronger.
China is getting stronger.
Russia is getting stronger.
US power is weakening after alienating its allies. The petrodollar is weakening, and oil may soon be traded in other currencies. The USD is weakening because of all of this, and it will be very hard to turn things around now.
And the saddest part? They did it to themselves.

FENTCOM Update
@CENTCOM tried to wage a war against our account even though we clearly labelled ourselves as a parody account.
CENTCOM should focus on getting untangled from the quagmire that the Tel Aviv and Island guys started, instead of policing social media.

@AyakaMods "- Crunchyroll acquired Funimation in 2022 and shut it down in April 2024, eliminating the last major competitor"
And refused to honor the "Digital Copies" sold by Funimation. Sony yet again saying "Digital purchases are bullshit, we can take them away at any time."
