Thinking about starting another account where the only thing I post is the random words that pop into my head. That way, I can have a running list, and see what words I randomly think about a lot, and I can see what time I thought them and what day/date. All sorts of cool info.

We should build two statues of Lewis and Clark at the head of the Mississippi River akin to the Argonath. "Why?" Why not?

It's an uncomfortable thought, I know, but I want you to think for a minute about all the absolutely horrific ways this child could have very easily died, had he not been found sooner. His mother thought about that and then thought "welp, good luck, kiddo". There is absolutely no rationale for that decision that doesn't make me think "lock her up and throw away the key". And to see people then turn around and go "this wouldn't have happened, had he just been aborted", that is just the most downright demonic shit I've heard all week. If you're one of the people making this excuse, I mean it when I say go buy yourself a nice and sturdy length of rope.

This newborn baby was found in a dumpster in Houston, Texas. "The child appeared to be fresh out of the womb, with his hair wet, his skin pruned and his umbilical cord still attached." Thankfully, he survived

@tuuu28283 Phonics, reading childrens' books, handwriting and spelling classes, and reading the Bible. Later grammar, more advanced reading, and memorizing. Later logic, more advanced grammar, and writing. Games were useful— books more so.

@realSaxonrage @AwaitingChrist "I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? Far from it! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew." From Romans 11 It continues with proofs.

@AwaitingChrist If it began with Abraham, it's a scam. It doesn't matter what flavor of the poison soda you choose to imbibe, it's all poisonous lies. Honestly, the whole thing is just so diseased it's vile. Try ditching all things Abrahamic.

@Biblicalman Not disagreeing, but I would like to point out that Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Job , Kings, Chronicles, Esther, Nehemiah, Ezra, Ruth, and Judges dont fit the "Law, Prophets, and Psalms".

Someone asked me last night if the Book of Enoch is Scripture. Her discernment was firing. Her stomach was turning. She didn't want to read on. Listen to her. Enoch tells you something real. The Watchers came down. They taught a counter-curriculum. Jude 14 names Enoch a prophet. Jude 15 quotes him. But Christ named the canon in Luke 24:44. The Law. The Prophets. The Psalms. Enoch is in none of them. Quoting a man is not canonizing his book. Paul quoted Greek poets, too. Acts 17:28. Titus 1:12. If your stomach turns when you read something, the Holy Ghost is teaching you to weigh it against Scripture, not to weigh Scripture against it. Trust your stomach.

An Englishman, taking a road trip through the US, notices he’s low on fuel, pulls into the first gas station he sees. The attendant walks out and approaches the car. “How can I help you, sir?” And in a posh voice, the man says, “I’m low on petrol; please top off the tank.” With an odd look, the guy begins to fill ’er up. The Englishman then says, “Also, while I’m here could you open the bonnet and check the oil?” Now looking slightly peeved but still saying nothing, the serviceman does as requested. “Oh, yes,” says the Brit, “It appears my windscreen needs a good cleaning. Would you mind terribly-” Unable to hold his tongue any more the attendant angrily snaps, “Alright, that’s enough! It’s not Petrol, it’s gasoline! It’s not a bonnet, it’s a hood! And it’s not a windscreen, it’s a windshield! We invented cars, so you call them by their American names!” And with that wonderful, charming, stiff-upper-lip UK wit, the Englishman calmly replies, “Well yes, my friend, you may have invented the automobile, but we invented the language!”

@moe_laboratory I only ever hear it when a girl is talking to someone she thinks of as a husband, future husband, or the like as far as I've noticed.

MoeLab! Japanese for Anime and Visual Novel!
Stop using "Anata" when talking to your Japanese friends. Textbooks teach it as "you," but in reality, it's rarely used. It either sounds like a wife calling her husband, or you're intentionally putting massive distance between yourself and the listener. In anime or visual novels, you'll hear characters scream "Anata," "Omae," or "Temee." But in real-world conversation? Just use their name + san/kun. If you don't know their name, avoid pronouns entirely. Japanese sentences naturally drop the subject anyway.

@ashleyschendel I got my wallet when I was like 13. It really has been 20 years, and I have no problems with it. It's been everywhere I've been— not my shoes, not my belt, and not my glasses: my wallet.

Very rarely will you need to buy your husband a new wallet, but when that day comes, it is somehow a major household decision and you cannot screw it up. Men will carry the same wallet for 20 years with the corners falling apart and still say it’s fine. So this is not the moment for creativity. Slim, durable, leather if he’s a leather guy, metal if he already likes that kind of thing. Do not surprise a man with a weird wallet.
