@Kenny_J_Miller @NASA @NASAArtemis Engineers investigated a sensor on the launch abort system’s attitude control motor controller battery that showed a higher temperature than would be expected. It is believed to be an instrumentation issue and will not affect today’s launch.

Artemis II is on schedule for launch tomorrow at 6:24 p.m ET. We’re monitoring an extremely complex vehicle, but everything is lining up. The rocket is healthy, the spacecraft is ready, the crew is in position, and the weather is looking good. America is on track to return to the Moon.

The hype for Artemis II just hit me like a ton of bricks this morning over breakfast. I’ve been dreaming about this mission since 10 year old me could rationalize the concept. This mission is NASA getting back to doing what they do best. Godspeed Artemis II. 🫡
