@Beardaknowledge @irockphilly I don't. No one said that. But even taking Miller out of it, Wood, Escobar, Fisher, Burkholder, Rincon, Nori, Bowker, McFarlane would all have value in trades. This is also not even talking about Crawford or Painter who certainly could be traded in the right deal.

@Cory_Nidoh Ward is getting on base which is nice but he has ZERO slug this year. I'd be weary of giving up real prospects for him.

Jeff Passan shares his thoughts on the #Phillies and the trade deadline. I just don’t see how Tarik Skubal makes sense for a team who is near the bottom of the league in most offensive categories. Ward seems more likely.

@MrTony03222023 @joekornik @JClarkNBCS It could also have the reserve effect which we've seen since the additional of the extra WC. The Phillies could be playing "playoff time" games for weeks heading into October where the Braves are just waiting for the games to start..

@SleeperPhillies No way is that sustainable. The Phillies need more than a serviceable right handed outfielder at the trade deadline, and hopefully, Dave "We have a good club" Dombrowski realizes that. I do not want to hear on August 4th, that the asking price was too high BS from him.

Honest question, think postseason. With the rotation you have, the bullpen you have. How sustainable is winning 3-2?

@PhilsTailgate The only way I can see it is if no bats are worth while going for and you just lean into pitching.

They could but they shouldn’t. The offense is in such a dire spot that they need to use their resources on multiple bats.

@thomasrp93 I don't see a world would Howie would even do that. Sure, they could talk about a framework but he would have to know things could happen between March and June 1st that would make another team jump in.

There are Patriots fans who actually believe Howie would trade AJ to them even if he had a better offer on the table, simply because they "had a deal" before a deal could be made. The most ethically broken franchise and they think anyone owes them anything. Lol. #Eagles
