Ensuring ease of doing business while firmly safeguarding consumer interests, strong enforcement actions have been undertaken following raids, with notices issued and stringent penalties imposed. Action has been taken against violations such as misuse of certification marks, and the Legal Metrology Department has issued 997 notices. Regulatory mechanisms across sectors, including e-commerce grievance redressal, have also been strengthened.
