We will march to commemorate the Nakba – for 78 years, Palestinians have been subjected to a racist system of oppression including ethnic cleansing, settler-colonialism, apartheid and genocide.  We march to reaffirm our commitment to the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the refugees’ right to return home. We march against the far right in Britain who glorify Israel’s racism and brutality. Our unity and solidarity is stronger than their hatred and division. Stand with the Palestinian people whose demand for justice is as important now as ever before.

We demand the British government condemns this attack, acts to protect the rights and safety of those aboard and the release of those detained, works to bring an end to the illegal blockade, and stops arming Israel. 4/4

🚨 Join the protest outside Barclays’ AGM ⏰ 7 May, 10am 📍 QEII Centre, Broad Sanctuary, Westminster, London, SW1P 3EE. Barclays is bankrolling Israel’s genocide, military occupation and apartheid against Palestinians. The bank provides investment and loans worth over £8 billion to arms companies supplying Israel with the weapons and military technology used in its military assaults on Palestinians. At the AGM, Barclays’ senior management will outline the bank’s plan for the next year. We’ll be there to demand they end Barclays complicity in Israel’s crimes against Palestinians. Join us! The Court of Appeal must uphold the High Court’s decision that the proscription is “disproportionate and unlawful” and finally quash this ban. The government must end all of its attempts to restrict our rights to protest against its shameful complicity in genocide and apartheid. (5/5)

This is part of a wider crackdown that includes the targeting of artists and musicians, the unprecedented use of police restrictions to curtail demonstrations, and the introduction of new powers to undermine our right to protest. (4/5)
