Just to be clear for the non-nuance crowd. I am not a “pro-Trump” person. I am a “stop being fooled by the deflection person.” Trump is not in charge of Canada. He’s not responsible for our broken justice system, our broken immigration system, our housing crisis, our drug addiction tsunami, our inflation and our lack of economic growth. We are. And I’m sick of Canadians OBSESSING about things that are out of their control (aka America’s president) when they can’t even be bothered to pay attention to what’s happening HERE, to look at the unnecessary decline HERE, to look at the horrendous mistakes that our government is making HERE that put us in this unnecessarily vulnerable position. Blaming Trump is honestly just lazy. He’s causing issues, yes. But if you’re not calling out our own administration and all of its massive failures, you’re not being a patriot. You’re just being lazy and you’re contributing to the decline of Canada, letting the Liberals get away with murder while you just stew about the orange man who you can literally do nothing about. And if Trump really is the hill that you die on - maybe you should be calling out the guy that campaigned on getting us a deal.

I never realized something until I was away from it for 6 weeks. There is something very, very wrong with Canada. It's like a spiritual rot. It's a true Evil that has subverted near everything. I mean, I can list all the things wrong here, but it goes beyond that. And beyond just mere corruption. You feel the weight of it lift when you leave, and you feel it settle back onto your shoulders when you return. It's like a moldy smell that just won't go away, no matter what you do. I truly detest what has happened to my homeland.

Dear Elbows Up idiots, The crisis that Canada is facing isn’t Donald Trump. It’s not tariffs. And it’s not climate change. I know you want it to be - but it isn’t. The crisis Canada is facing, is you. You are the ones who decided to vote for someone you knew nothing about. You are the ones who voted for someone who couldn’t care less about Canada. You are the ones who voted for a complete moron who has destroyed international relationships - specifically with the US - because “no deal is better than a bad deal.” And you’re praising Carney for doing so because you’re all a bunch of ridiculous rejects who watch endless CBC reporters cheer while Carney throws the future of Canada into a ditch because orange man bad. This is what you voted for because you are all filled with a never-ending amount of blind hatred for a man you used to admire while sitting on the couch watching The Apprentice. And now Canada is falling to pieces, which doesn’t bother you one bit because you now view failure as success - because it makes it easier for all of you to live with yourselves knowing what you’ve done. Knowing that you’ve bankrupted your children and your grandchildren; knowing that your grandkids are already tens of thousands of dollars in debt to the government; knowing your adult children will likely never own a home and may never move out of your dreadful basements because they can’t afford to pay rent. And I guess that’s fine because your kids are so screwed up they don’t even know what bathroom to use. But that’s ok, because Canada has been flooded with immigrants who bring little to no skill with them while living in hotels paid for by taxpayers which makes you feel good because virtue signalling is the only thing you have left to give. And then there’s the economy - which is now so bad it’s being considered a “human rights crisis,” which also doesn’t bother you because who cares about human rights when you can’t even define what a woman is. Overwhelmed food banks? Who cares? Homeless veterans? Who cares? Families taxed into poverty? Who cares? A housing crisis? Who cares? Drug addicts everywhere? Who cares? “Who cares?” would be your battle cry if you didn’t already have the stupidest battle cry in history - Elbows Up! And speaking of Elbows Up…all of you are still pretending to boycott all American products - which is basically impossible - while complaining daily about Trump and the US on this AMERICAN PLATFORM and gushing about how you’ve cancelled your trips to the US and are vacationing in Mexico which now just happens to be the largest trading partner with the US. And when you’re not “sticking it to Trump” with your ignorant views, you’re complaining about the Alberta Separatist’s movement (a movement which is not new) and pretending we’re traitors for wanting a better life and our own country because you voted repeatedly to destroy Canada. And you did that because you are the traitors - every last one of you - but you’re too stupid to realize it and you’re so filled with hatred that you can’t see the forest through the trees. So yeah, it’s you. It’s all of you. You’re the crisis.

A Polish dance group, Fair Play Crew, drew global attention by recreating on stage the stiff and synchronized movements of 1980s fighting video games, such as the classic International Karate. I've seen this so many times, still cracks me up 😂

William Shatner is 95 today! Bill’s Twilight Zone episode “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” (1963) remains one of TV’s most iconic moments. Shatner captures sheer terror and unravelling paranoia locked in a metal tube miles high, seeing something no one believes. Just brilliant.

🇨🇦 Canada is one of the richest countries on Earth. We rank: 🥇 #1 uranium 🥇 #1 potash 🥈 #2 nickel 🥉 #3 oil reserves 🏅 #5 gold 💧 #1 freshwater Countries have gone to war for less than this. Yet Canadians are told: • we’re too poor to cut taxes • too broke to build homes • too weak to compete A country this blessed should not feel this poor. Question to folks who cast their ballot for the Carney Liberals a year ago. If you knew then what you know today, if you could have heard the answer to this question before you voted, would you have voted differently?
Scott Robertson@sarobertsonca

TRINH: It's your one year anniversary. You promised major projects, you promised to remove tariffs that the US had levied against us -- CARNEY: I promised the best deal for Canada. That's the difference, Judy. And we have the best deal for Canada right now.

Much of the media is celebrating the first anniversary of Mark Carney as Prime Minister, suggesting his first year in office has delivered significant progress. The data, however, tells a more complicated story. Canada currently posts the highest food inflation rate among G7 countries. The overall unemployment rate has remained largely unchanged, while youth unemployment continues to climb. The national deficit has nearly doubled. Interprovincial trade barriers—despite a commitment to eliminate them by July 1, 2025—remain firmly in place. Our tariff situation with the United States has deteriorated compared with when he took office. Meanwhile, several of the transformational projects announced months ago have yet to receive formal approval. Either there is something I’m missing, or parts of the media narrative surrounding the first year of Prime Minister Carney’s mandate are significantly disconnected from the underlying economic indicators.

Imagine if Trump started freezing bank accounts of protesters. Imagine if Trump started taking away your private property rights. Imagine if Trump made bills that made religious texts illegal. Imagine if Trump had people debanked. Imagine if Trump blocked your access to independent news online and created bills that made many forms of speech punishable with fines and jail time. Imagine if Trump was using Americans pension funds and tax income to invest in his own companies and make himself a billionaire. Imagine if Trump was stealing a majority government right now with bribery. Canadians blindfolds on the issues happening HERE is abhorrent.

Karl Marx gave humanity its most murderous idea: that human suffering stems not from scarcity and the human condition, but from private property itself. This bearded parasite—who never worked a day in his life and lived off Engels' textile fortune—convinced generations that voluntary exchange was exploitation while violent redistribution was justice. The body count speaks for itself. Stalin's forced collectivization murdered 6 million Ukrainians through engineered famine. Mao's Great Leap Forward killed 45 million through sheer economic illiteracy. Pol Pot slaughtered a quarter of Cambodia's population. And every single time, the intellectuals proclaimed it "wasn't real socialism." The pattern is identical across continents and centuries: seize private property, centrally plan production, watch millions starve. But the intellectual foundation was always rotten. Marx's labor theory of value—the notion that labor alone creates value—was already debunked by Austrian economists like Böhm-Bawerk before the ink was dry on Das Kapital. Value is subjective, determined by individual preferences in voluntary exchange. Marx simply couldn't grasp that the capitalist performs the crucial function of time preference—sacrificing present consumption for uncertain future returns. Even "democratic socialism" in Western Europe required massive wealth transfers from productive individuals to bureaucratic parasites, creating permanent dependency classes and stagnating growth. Venezuela had the world's largest oil reserves and still managed to create toilet paper shortages. Cuba turned a Caribbean paradise into a floating prison where doctors flee on rafts. Every socialist experiment ends the same way: empty shelves, secret police, and intellectuals explaining why the next attempt will be different.
