South Wales Fire and Rescue service are currently dealing with a large grass/heather fire on the mountain above Pontsticill reservoir. This will create a large smoke plume which will be visible to residents and members of public in Merthyr Tydfil, Tredegar and Ebbw Vale. SR

South Wales Fire are aware of a strong smell of petrol/fuel in the Caerphilly area. National Resources Wales have been informed and are dealing with an incident in the area. ^RT
