Reimagining How India Trades Agricultural Produce India’s agri markets are vast, dynamic, and constantly moving. But behind this scale lies a challenge: fragmented trade flows, limited visibility of demand, and inefficiencies that slow down how produce moves from farms to markets. Farmers grow. FPOs aggregate. Buyers exist. Yet connecting the two, efficiently and transparently, remains a gap. This is where Samunnati’s Output Marketplace comes in. Designed as a digital B2B trade platform, it connects FPOs directly with institutional buyers, bringing structure to how agri produce is discovered, priced, and traded. With verified participants, transparent pricing mechanisms, and streamlined workflows, the platform helps FPOs reach wider markets while enabling buyers to access reliable, aggregated supply. The result? ▪️More visibility. ▪️Faster trade cycles. ▪️Better price discovery. ▪️Stronger, more efficient value chains. At Samunnati, we believe that when markets become more structured, opportunities become more accessible — for every stakeholder in the ecosystem. Because efficient markets don’t just move produce, they move possibilities. Where does value get lost in agriculture? It depends on how we look at the system. At the ET Edge Global Sustainability Alliance AgriFood Systems Summit 2026 in New Delhi, Anil Kumar SG, Founder & CEO, Samunnati, highlighted that the challenge is not just fragmented landholdings, but a fragmented agri-ecosystem. Agriculture operates like a relay race, from inputs to post-harvest, finance, and markets, with value passing through multiple stages. At each transition, there is a risk of value erosion, especially when these elements function in silos. Even simple improvements, like timely access to quality inputs or better post-harvest handling, can significantly influence outcomes. But the real shift lies in moving from isolated interventions to connected value chains where production, finance, and markets work in sync. Because improving farmer income is not about fixing one part of the system, it is about strengthening the entire ecosystem. #Samunnati #AgriFoodSystems #AgriEcosystem #FPOs #ValueChains #SustainableAgriculture #AgriInnovation #MakingMarketsWork

Today at Muzaffarpur, Bihar, Samunnati joined PFRDA and NABARD in advancing an important mission, enabling farmers, FPOs, and those engaged in agri & allied sectors to build long-term financial security through the National Pension System (NPS). For many smallholder farmers, income cycles remain seasonal and uncertain, making retirement planning a challenge. As a Point of Presence (PoP) for NPS, Samunnati is working to bridge this gap by enabling awareness, access, and enrolment support for structured pension solutions at the grassroots. The outreach programme at Shivam Vivah Bhawan brought together representatives from PFRDA, NABARD, banks, government departments, and FPOs to strengthen understanding and adoption of NPS. Amit, Area Business Head - LHFPO, represented Samunnati at the event and shared insights on how FPOs can play a key role in expanding pension inclusion and improving financial security for farming communities. Voices of Women at Samunnati | #GiveToGain Progress is rarely built alone; it grows when people come together, share perspectives, and build collectively. By bringing teams together and encouraging wider participation, she has seen how diverse thinking leads to better decisions, deeper ownership, and more meaningful impact. Voices of Women at Samunnati | Give to Gain Real change in agriculture often begins with removing barriers and enabling access where it matters most. For Kalyani CR, Head - Underwriting Solutions, the journey at Samunnati has been about understanding how thoughtful financial systems and inclusive approaches can unlock opportunities across the agri-ecosystem. Her perspective reflects a larger truth: when systems are designed to be more accessible and equitable, they create stronger linkages between farmers, markets, and institutions. That’s what Give to Gain looks like in practice, enabling access, building trust, and creating pathways for long-term impact. #GiveToGain #WomenAtSamunnati #VoicesAtSamunnati #WomenInLeadership #AgriEcosystem #FinancialInclusion #EmployeeStories #Samunnati

For Aswini S, Head – Digital Transformation, a decade at Samunnati reflects a journey of continuous evolution, from starting out in finance to exploring new roles, building capabilities, and leading transformation today. For Prerana Desai, Head – Research Desk, Samunnati represents a workplace where women’s leadership is not just encouraged, but actively nurtured to drive meaningful impact across the ecosystem. Voices of Women at Samunnati | Give to Gain Every journey at Samunnati is shaped by learning, trust, and the opportunity to grow. For Nikhileswari V from the Internal Audit team, joining Samunnati meant stepping into a new professional environment with both excitement and challenges. With the support of leadership and the HR team, she gradually built confidence, took on responsibilities independently, and discovered what it truly means to work in a place that values people and their potential. Her experience reflects an important belief we hold close: when women are given trust, flexibility, and the right opportunities, they grow, lead, and create meaningful impact. As we celebrate the International Year of the Woman Farmer 2026, we continue to amplify the voices of women who contribute to strengthening institutions, communities, and the agricultural ecosystem. #GiveToGain #WomenAtSamunnati #InternationalYearOfTheWomanFarmer #WomenEmpowerment #VoicesAtSamunnati #GreatPlaceToWork #WomenInWorkplace

𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗙𝗣𝗢𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 India has made remarkable progress in forming Farmer Producer Organisations. The next frontier is identifying and strengthening those ready to scale as sustainable agri-enterprises. To support this, Samunnati, in collaboration with CRISIL, developed a structured FPO Assessment Framework that helps evaluate institutional strength, governance systems, and business readiness of FPOs. The framework enables ecosystem partners to make more informed decisions when it comes to lending, partnerships, and capacity-building interventions. So far, the framework has assessed 200+ FPOs across 12 states, with nearly 70% identified as high-potential institutions capable of scaling their operations. Designed to support: ▪️ Holistic performance assessment ▪️ Structured Credit and Risk-Appraisal ▪️ Targeted capacity building ▪️ Value-chain integration and diversification If you are a financial institution, donor, FPO or FPO promoter, or ecosystem partner, this framework can help you identify and engage with FPOs built to last. This International Women’s Day, we reflect on the theme Give to Gain, a powerful reminder that when women are given access to opportunity, leadership, and markets, entire ecosystems grow stronger. Across India’s agricultural value chains, women contribute significantly as farmers, entrepreneurs, and institution builders. Yet their potential is often limited by a lack of access to resources, finance, and decision-making platforms. At Samunnati, strengthening women-led farmer institutions and enabling equitable participation in markets remains central to building resilient agri ecosystems. As Anil Kumar SG, Founder & CEO, Samunnati, shares in today’s message, empowering women in agriculture is not just about inclusion; it is about unlocking growth, resilience, and long-term prosperity for farming communities. #InternationalWomensDay #GiveToGain #InternationalYearOfWomenFarmers #WomenInAgriculture #WomenLedFPOs #Samunnati #InclusiveGrowth #MakingMarketsWork

Inclusion is a Mindset | #GiveToGain As part of our International Women’s Day series, Venkatesh Raja, CHRO at Samunnati, reflects on the role women colleagues play in shaping our organisation and the larger agri ecosystem we serve. At Samunnati, inclusion is not an initiative; it is a mindset. We are committed to building a workplace where women feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow, contribute, and lead. Across teams and functions, our women colleagues are not only contributing to our work with farmers, FPOs, and agri enterprises, but they are also key decision-makers and change agents driving the organisation forward. On this International Women’s Day, we acknowledge and appreciate the dedication, resilience, and leadership of the women at Samunnati who continue to strengthen our journey of making markets work for smallholder farmers. Watch the video to hear his message. #InternationalWomensDay #GiveToGain #InternationalYearOfWomenFarmers #WomenAtSamunnati #WomenInAgriculture #InclusiveWorkplace #Samunnati #MakingMarketsWork
