Ward 2 CERT Training is in full swing, as 20 residents joined at Anthony Bowen YMCA to build skills, strengthen connections, and prepare to support their communities in case of an emergency. Participants started with team building activity by building towers from scratch.

ServeDC is working hard to get supplies out to our Snow Team Heroes ❄️ Today, we’re distributing metal tools at four sites across the District, supporting neighbors helping neighbors during winter weather.

Mayor Bowser’s Snow Team Heroes help our most vulnerable neighbors during winter weather. TODAY, volunteers can pick up metal shovels and additional materials that will help remove the icy mixture left behind by the winter storm.  Sign up now at snowteam.dc.gov

Reminder: the Snow Emergency has been extended to Friday, Jan 30, at 9:30AM. It’s important to continue keeping your vehicles off of Snow Emergency Routes.
