Todd Blanche needs a reminder that there’s a legally binding subpoena for documents that is different than the law. This investigation is not a hoax. The DOJ needs to release the rest of files.

Something most people are missing is that Peter Thiel, the man who bankrolled JD Vance’s Senate bid and incubated him professionally before that, said in one of his insane “Antichrist” lectures that he hoped Vance would only be a Catholic in the most superficial sense, basically just as a skin for appearances. Thiel is behind the new techno-surveillance state that the Trump administration is building, and he wouldn’t be able to do it without helping position Vance where he is today. So here you have Vance’s master, the guy who *made* him, spelling out exactly what Vance is doing today, role-playing as a pious politician, and in practice Vance is doing it to morally disarm people and get them to go along with whatever it is the White House wants to do. Post-liberals, right-wing Catholics are complicit in what is a pretty obvious con.

In his second term, Trump seems even less restrained and more incoherent at times. He uses more profanity, speaks longer, regularly makes comments rooted in fantasy rather than fact, wanders off into odd tangents and shocks even allies with his outbursts. nytimes.com/2026/04/13/us/…

In January, Carney made waves around the world — and ruffled MAGA feathers — by declaring at the World Economic Forum that American global dominance is ending because "this bargain no longer works." He outlined how the destabilizing effects of the Trump presidency are rewriting the global power structure. Canada will now look to other nations to build their prosperity, relying less on the United States which is always just one bad election away from another Trump. Clearly, Carney's vision of the future has struck a chord with Canadians.
