@TyluhFryz Yeah, they really only matter for the edit styles for the mech & backbling, and the backbling styles don't even exist until next update. The Zero Point Sprite's effect in particular is disappointing given it's rarity

The sprite mechanic is good, but I don’t feel like they impact my gameplay much. Like most of the sprites abilities r insanely mid, and the ones with the best abilities I can’t find 😂 Most games I just end up not even bringing a sprite into the game with me.

Initial thoughts on this Fortnite season: we have the foundation (pun intended) for another BANGER season. BUT I am mildly struggling with the loot pool. The guns are a bit of a downgrade from last season, the heals are much more scarce, and the seven sliders are so disruptive I don't even pick them up. Wish the sprites were a little more consequential as well. That being said, the map is PHENOMENAL. And even with these critiques, I am having so much fun, specifically with friends. Excited for the future of this season 🔥

@TyluhFryz You have to save Wick's dog to get it. I've seen the dog crate spawn in the lobby of what used to be Deca Hotel at Sinister Strip, and in the sewer area under Battlewoods

Am I the only one who can't find heals on this map to save my life? I feel like they massively perfect the spawn rate, not to mentions vaulting the staff and pizzas

@kaizoslop My main worry is that he'll only get to be the main villain for the duration of this chapter. If he reveals himself to the Seven in the end-of-chapter event and gets to be the main villain for all of Chapter 8, then I'm happy; otherwise, it'll be a bit disappointing

i opposed the idea of geno returning for so long but they managed to make it work well honestly. dude i can't fucking wait for s3

The new sprites feel a little underwhelming gameplay-wise, and the fact that only some of them are marked as unlocking styles for The Guardian is very disappointing, especially since the special variants are just recolors that could easily use the same animations as the base form

The new pistol is fun, definitely powerful but being semi-auto and having more limited range than last season's pistol balances it out. Also, the animations on it are sick

Chaos Exploder AR is a terrible idea on paper and an even worse idea in practice, how do you look at the Explosive Repeater Rifle and say "but what if it had 30 rounds in the mag and even faster projectiles" be so for fucking real with me fortnite

@Egyptian_Leaker I heard one about The Shape when doing the found quest in Sinister Strip. Something about the Shape being tied to the return of Sprites to the island iirc

Still, overall a VERY good event

Revealing Geno in the middle of the chapter instead of as the main villain of an entire chapter feels just a little bit lame to me, though I suppose every returning character this season has been just a little bit disappointing, so I'm not sure what I expected

@CoolioUncle They should give the Foundation's style at the end of the chapter, or after the 18-month BP exclusivity window ends. Gives Team Ice King a decent amount of time to celebrate their win, but also means Epic isn't throwing away a perfectly good style for no reason

I definitely lost the energy to keep caring about the rivalry after we were losing the 2nd act midway through lmfao. I just hope they award both of the styles somehow because locking one forever is stupid. Maybe Foundation's team needs to do challenges or earn XP idfk.

I'm seeing a lot of talk about Foundation just giving up and yeaaaah we definitely did 😭 Losing 3 acts in a row because of lower numbers (especially with being close to winning act 3 and having that stolen from under us) definitely hurt morale.

Stats at the end of Season 2. Overall a solid season, though I think it got consistently worse as time went on. The day one lootpool before the Power Gloves were added was incredible, but excessive mobility additions and refusal to properly nerf the Chaos Reloader held it back

@GrayMan7278 Difference is that Spider-Man is exclusive to an old pass, whereas John Wick is an item shop skin already; same reason people were okay with a new Superman skin in C6S3 despite him being in the C2S7 pass as well

I never got why people wanted a new spiderman in the pass it'd just be exactly like the john wick situation
