I’m so fucking tired of having cis people explain to me what I need to do to cater towards “the norm” while they don’t do anything to stop trans people from being shoved into prisons where they’re forcefully detransitioned and tortured.. I don’t want trans kids to end themselves because ultra conservatives want to uphold their reproductive apparatus, and I don’t see how conceding to this is actually giving us more rights. “Oh trans people are asking for too much” “well trans women in sports.. and changing rooms.. puberty blockers.. this is a losing position” They just want us to accept that we’ll never be equal. We’ll never be included in society. We’ll never be seen as cis people. But what if we do. What if we concede to this. Will the attacks stop? Will transphobia magically disappear? Will we get our life saving healthcare back? No. Of course not. Because none of the people in positions of power actually fight for that.
