Obidients need to be careful what they say about their leader’s leader, Atiku. Except they leave the coalition, Atiku is his only chance of Obi being on the ballot. When Atiku wins the coalition’s ticket, he’s got the option of Amaechi as VP candidate too. Do not let your usual imagination lead you into thinking Obi being bottom of that ticket is a given. In this coalition as it is, Atiku is Sir Shina Peters. He holds the ace. PS: Peter Obi is working out a plan to leave the coalition, a return to the Labour Party is on the cards.

Politics 101: The truth is only a Northerner can defeat the president. A Southerner in the opposition cannot pull off the votes from NW and NE needed to unseat the incumbent.
