Governor Ademola Adeleke’s supporters are playing very dirty politics by attacking Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (@OyebamijiBola), the @OfficialAPCNg gubernatorial candidate in Osun State, our respected father and leader, Chief Bisi Akande, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT). They have also been bullying, intimidating, defaming, oppressing and threatening supporters of the APC in Osun. On our own side, we are intellectuals - in academia, professional services, politics and governance. We are well behaved. As you might know, it is not in our Omoluabi culture to behave like thugs and unruly mobs during election season. We are known for allowing citizens make their own voting decision. Moreover, Osun State is a progressive state. We are an educated people. And gutter politics is below us. As such, we hope it will be prevailed on Mr Adeleke to call his supporters to order. PS: As I noted yesterday, there is no sort of attack, lies and defamation that will stop Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (@OyebamijiBola) from becoming the next Governor of Osun State. STRENGTHENING UNITY, SECURING VICTORY Today in Owo, I met with APC stakeholders from the Northern Senatorial District to reaffirm the need for unity ahead of the primaries. While ambition is legitimate, it must never override our collective interest. Consensus remains our preferred path, as it strengthens stability and positions us better for victory. Where consensus is not possible, we will adopt direct primaries but always with peace, maturity, and discipline. I urge all aspirants to remain committed and loyal. Your contributions are seen and valued, and there will always be reward for consistency. We must avoid divisions and reject violence. Together, we will move forward as one strong party.

If you can’t handle opposing views without getting worked up, then the issue isn’t who I support, it’s your inability to accept that people can think differently and still stand firm in their choices. And that’s your problem. The only thing I owe you is a block if you behave like omo ale in my mentions.

I have also sent N500,000 for young people in OSUN to pay for JAMB forms. Other forms of educational interventions have been provided. This is not to brag but to encourage us to give back to our community and state regularly, not just during election season. Our people are too smart to be deceived. As such, we should never take them for fools! PS: The rumours that I am doing these to secure the House of Representatives ticket in my constituency is false.
